Meijer is extremely busy during the holidays as people tend to cook large meals for family and friends. They are open every day of the year except for Christmas when they are closed all day. On every other day they are open 24 hours.

Pharmacy hours can vary. Non 24-hour stores open later than normal and close earlier than normal on major holidays, such as Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and New Years Day. The majority of stores close EARLY on Christmas Eve and close LATER than normal on Black Friday.
Most Meijer stores will be closed on Christmas Day. The stores will open at 6 a.m. and close at 12 a.m. on New Year’s Day, New Year’s Eve and the day after Christmas. Meijer Thanksgiving hours are from 6 am to 4 pm. Additionally, on Christmas Eve, the stores will open from 6 am to 7 pm.
