In 1969, Steve became senior supervisor. The siblings wanted to extend at the pace of one store each year with an objective of seven stores by 1972. In 1972, the organization extended from seven to fourteen stores.
After one year, Sheetz started selling gas, and opened the primary self-serve service stations in focal Pennsylvania.
